This is just a ramble round the historic town of Beverley, in Yorkshire's East Riding. Although I've shown our route, there is scope to wander wither you will, over Westwood Pastures and the town. Try to plan your visit on market day (Saturdays).
There a lots of places of places of interest to see; notabley the Minister (started building in 1220) and St Mary's Church (built 100 years before the Minster).
Beverley has 40 odd public houses, most over a century old, including the last pub in the world to still use authentic gas lighting; The White Horse Inn (or "Nellie's" to the local population).
